چکیده
Little is known about the ichthyofauna from intertidal rock pools of west coast Africa, especially in Gulf Guinea. Rock are characteristic habitats zone structurally complex rocky shores, adding important niche space to coastal fish species. In this study, three similar shores Príncipe Island were sampled describe composition, abundance and distribution assemblages their relation parameters pool structure (volume, depth), water mass (temperature, salinity pH) biology (algal coral cover, biological species richness). A total 18 one leptocephalus larva unknown species, representing 13 families, observed during sampling. decreasing order, five-most-abundant goby Bathygobius burtoni, night sergeant Abudefduf taurus, West African rockhopper Entomacrodus cadenati, sailfin blenny Microlipophrys velifer Biafra doctorfish Prionurus biafraensis, which together represented 81% number recorded study. The four-most-abundant also proved be better adapted range conditions found pools. Overall, larger with minimal cover higher support richness. Most individually preferred volumes, but some presented a degree habitat specificity, such as absence or presence cover. Species that more-active swimmers deeper

the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...
Estimation of Coral fish Standing Biomass in Hengam Island, The Persian Gulf
Standing biomass of coral fish was estimated by the Underwater Visual Census method(UVCm) and belt transect in five stations (St.) (dead corals, continuous and developed reefs, discrete and undeveloped reefs, Acropora spp. in small amounts and rocky reefs), in Larak Island from Sep.2020 to Apr.2021seasonally.The maximum and minimum of standing biomass was estimated 908.79 (Kg/Km2) and 235.85 ...
متن کاملStudy on biodiversity, catch composition and length frequency distribution around the fish aggregation device in Qeshm Island Persian Gulf
The objective of the present study was to determine the effects of fish aggregation device (FAD) deployment on biodiversity, catch composition and length frequency distribution in the Qeshm Island handline fishery. Two FADs were deployed in the Qeshm Island. Four biodiversity indices including Margalef, Shannon-Weaver, Simpson and Pielou and also catch composition and length frequency distribut...
متن کاملDiversity and distribution of True Crabs (Brachyura) from intertidal rocky shores of Qeshm Island, Persian Gulf
Rocky shores are one of the most important habitats of marine environment in coastal areas. This study was done in 2010-2011 to investigate the diversity of true crabs in intertidal rocky shores of Qeshm island. Samples were collected from intertidal zones during the low-tide at 5 stations. The specimens were fixed in 70% Etanol and transferred to laboratory for identification. Altogether, 15 c...
